FORT WORTH ISD VOLUNTEER LEADER WINS STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION’S 2019 HEROES FOR CHILDREN AWARD

Longtime Fort Worth ISD volunteer and community leader Loretta Burns is the recipient of the 2019 Heroes for Children Award for this region of Texas.

The award – announced by the State Board of Education – is bestowed on volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to student learning or who have demonstrated sustained periods of involvement and support of public education.
